Information for you about making a booking

Thank you for your interest in wanting to stay at Cranleigh. Below is some important information about making your booking:

BOOKING SECURITY

When you make a booking we will always ask for the following information.

*  NAME
*  ADDRESS INCLUDING FULL HOUSE NUMBER AND POSTAL/ZIP CODE
*  TELEPHONE NUMBER
*  VISA, MASTERCARD OR DEBIT CARD NO.
*  THE SECURITY NUMBER ON THE BACK OF THE CARD ( THE LAST 3 OR 4 DIGITS)
*  NAME ON THE CARD IF DIFFERENT FROM ABOVE
*  EXPIRY DATE
*  START DATE or ISSUE NUMBER
* TIME OF ARRIVAL

These are held securely until your arrival.

Please note that we will not take any payment or deposit from your card at this stage. When you depart you will be given a invoice for the full amount including any extras you have incurred when you check out.

Your card details are held as security for the booking in case of cancellation, or non payment of goods or services on departure.

CANCELLATION
Once you make a booking the booking confirmation you receive constitutes a binding contract between us.  You can cancel your booking by giving us 3 full days notice before your arrival date. In this instance we reserve the right to charge an administration fee of £20..

If you cancel within 3 days or curtail your stay for any reason then the full amount detailed in your confirmation becomes payable.  We will of course endeavor to re-let the room and reduce the amount payable. 

Please note that if you do cancel we will issue a confirmation of cancellation to you either by E-mail, Post or Fax and that the booking remains in force until you have received this.

Travel insurance is highly recommended.  Travelers from outside the UK should contact their travel agent.  UK travelers can obtain insurance from www.travelinsurance.co.uk

TIME OF ARRIVAL
To help us with your arrival please advise if your time of arrival orif is likely to change

We do not operate a full time reception.

Our normal check in times are:

Sunday to Friday: from 1pm to 7pm

Saturday from 1pm to 5pm

If you need to check in after these times this needs to be arranged in advance so that there is someone to greet you on your arrival. Regrettably we cannot offer a check in after 10pm so you must ensure your arrival by this time at the latest.

If you require an earlier check in please let us know and we will try to make sure the room is ready for your arrival.

CHECKING OUT
Check out is 10.30am on day of departure.

PAYMENT
No charges will be made until your arrival but your credit cards details are held as security for the booking in case of cancellation or non payment. Please see above.

You will be given an invoice when you check out and you can then pay by cash, Debit Card, Solo Card, Credit Cards (Visa or Mastercard) . 
Please note an additional 2.5% will be added for credit card payments. 

YOUR ROOM
If you have a particular room preference ( e.g. room 3) we will do our best to accommodate this but this cannot be guaranteed. If we are unable to meet your request you will always be allocated the room type you booked.

Double Rooms and Four Poster Rooms - can accommodate a maximum of 2 people in one double/king bed .

Superior Double/Twin Rooms - standard setup of these rooms is one double/king bed. If your prefer the room to have twin beds please let us know when booking the room so that we can set up the beds before your arrival.

Triple Occupancy - Superior double/twin rooms can accommodate extra bed/person if required @ £15 per night

Family Rooms - Our largest superior double/twin room can accommodate a family of four in one double and 2 single beds or 2 double beds.

Children - We welcome well behaved children 5 years over. Regrettably we cannot accommodate under 5's.

CELEBRATING
If you have ordered or intend to order Champagne/Chocolates/Flowers to be in your room on arrival please let us know your estimated time of arrival so that these can be placed in your room.

SMOKING
Smoking is not permitted in any part of the building including guest bedrooms, reception and breakfast room. We reserve the right to levy a charge if extra cleaning is needed or any damaged is coursed by smoking in rooms.

HOT TUB
If you have booked a Hot Tub session then you will be given a instructional/safety sheet before your session. The water temperature in kept between 37 c. If you have any medical condition that bathing in water of this temperature may aggravate then you should consult your doctor first.

If you need to cancel your hot tub session please give us 24 hours notice so that your session can be offered to other guests.
